Planting to Preserve: Grow a Garden to Eat from Year Round! Master Gardener and Master Food Preserver Laura Simpson will take us through the process of growing flavorful vegetables to preserving nutrients and robust flavor for seasons to follow. Laura has over 25 years of experience in food preserving and will share tips on safe and healthy canning. Join us!
WMWD and the UCCE Master Gardener Program offer free water efficient landscaping and gardening education workshops on the second Saturday of the month. Arrive early to get your seat, workshop materials, and a cup of morning coffee.
Our speakers are well versed and enjoy Q&A sessions after their presentations. Master Gardeners are also available to answer questions and guide you to solutions to your gardening challenges.
These one-hour workshops begin promptly at 10 a.m. Seating is limited.
