Water Use Regulations & Restrictions
Living EfficientlyLiving Efficiently
Over the last two years, Western customers have made an impact by helping our community reduce water use during recent supply restrictions. Water efficiency must continue to always be a part of our lifestyle. The decision to remove the day-of-week irrigation restrictions in March 2011 was not a declaration that our supply issues were completely resolved or that we have water to waste.

Riverside County will always wrestle with imported water supply restrictions caused by natural and regulatory conditions. The decision was based on your response to the challenge. Since July 2009, our community as a whole has done a great job reducing waste and using water wisely. Customers' continued resolve, coupled with the ample rainfall this season and new local water supplies developed by Western, is helping to secure our water supply.
